Reno, NV., March 25th, 2010
By popular demand, we are alternating
our daytime and evening User Group meetings to accommodate
diverse responsibilities. Join us once again at the USDA Natural
Resources Conservation Service offices for InDesign Mojo -
Part II.
Another reason you will not want
to miss our meeting! Melissa Rhodes from Photolibrary (www.photolibrary.com)
will lead off our meeting with an brief overview of her company's
services and how they plan to serve us in the future. The
Photolibrary Group represents the world’s leading stock brands
and the finest photographers from around the world, bringing
memorable content to the creative communities in Europe, America,
Asia, and the Pacific. They provide customers with access
to over 6 million images and hundreds of hours of footage
and full composition music. Also, Melissa and Photolibrary
will provide a T-shirt or two for our raffle and update us
on their generous discount for InDUG members. Thanks, in advance,
to our new sponsor. There will still be plenty of time for
our scheduled mid-day agenda. Jim Cooper will be presenting
collaborative publishing tips from some of his most recent
workshops: "The Journalist’s Guide to InDesign" / "Creating
Productive InCopy Environments" / "High-Impact PDFs" Bring
your lunch and see some innovative and powerful InDesign demonstrations.
This will be an ideal meeting for authors, editors and catalog
publishers to gain some insight on green publishing techniques.
If you are new to InDesign or to the User Group, this is the
great way to get started. Get out of the office for a while
and benefit from the most economical training experience that
you will find.
